Counter surfing is a sport at which Bassets really excel. This trio of tri-colors displays teamwork, as well as good eye-mouth coordination and stretching ability, combined
with a fine sense of smell and taste. They'll need all of these assets plus lots of practice to advance to the Olympics. There's a lot of competition out there in the Basset world! (According to Wikipedia:“Bassets’ short stature can be deceiving; Bassets are surprisingly long and can reach things on table tops that dogs of similar heights cannot.” Hmmm. Who would have guessed?
