In springtime every gardener could use an extra pair of hands. The lucky Basset-owner can enlist four extra paws and an especially long back by obtaining the services of the beloved family pet—planting every seed and sprout, and sometimes digging them up again!
Other typical Basset contributions include breaking into those hard-to-open fertilizer bags and spreading it (rolling in it). To add a little gaiety to your toil, your helper may run off with a gardening glove or maybe your trowel. Hiding or burying them is lots of fun!
