This young dog is an enthusiastic participant in his human's "Take Your Dog to Work Today."  His special task is guarding the carrier's cap while he is out of the truck. 
  While the handsome Basset looks forward to the swift completion of the appointed rounds, he is deterred by snow, rain, heat, and gloom of night, when he wisely chooses to curl up with a good pillow at home.
