When Bassets sleep and their feet move and faint whimpers come from their little black lips, this is probably what they're dreaming about. What could be more fun on a sunny October afternoon than
chasing a bunny through the  thickets on a wooded Virginia farm with the pack.

Hot on the scent trail, these hounds from the Ashland Basset Hound Hunt Club are doing what they were bred to do and so is the rabbit, who makes a rapid and almost always successful escape.
